The IEM Young Engineers Section (YES) is excited to share some fantastic news! On 19th April 2025, we had the honour of attending the 66th IEM Annual Dinner and Awards Night, held at the beautiful Sunway Resort Hotel.
It was a wonderful evening celebrating the engineering community’s achievements, and we’re incredibly proud to announce that IEM Young Engineers Section was awarded the 1st runner-up for the IEM Presidential Award of Excellence (PAOE) for the Year 2024!
This award is a huge recognition of the hard work and dedication of our IEM YES committee throughout the year. From organising events and workshops to collaborating with student sections and promoting the young engineers’ development, this wouldn’t have been possible without the strong teamwork and support from each and every one of you.
We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to IEM for this honour, and to all our members, collaborators, and supporters who have been part of this journey with us. This recognition motivates us to keep pushing forward and doing our best for the engineering community.
