IEM Vice President Ir. Dr. Lee Yun Fook delivered a speech on behalf of IEM President Ir. Yau Chau Fong at the ESUM 67th Annual Dinner held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel this evening.
In his address, Ir. Dr. Lee congratulated ESUM on its 67th Anniversary and commended its longstanding commitment to providing students with valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom. He reaffirmed IEM’s commitment to supporting ESUM’s technical activities and student development initiatives.
Ir. Dr. Lee also shared highlights of IEM’s IMPACT 2030 Strategic Plan and outlined the Institution’s efforts in supporting members throughout their professional journey—from Student Members and Graduate Engineers to Corporate Members. He emphasised the importance of mentorship, professional development, and active engagement in preparing the next generation of engineering leaders.
IEM YES and several Council Members were also present to support the IEM UM Student Section and strengthen engagement with future engineering leaders.
