ENGINEER & MARVEX EXPO 2025

ENGINEER & MARVEX 2025 took place from 9–12 September 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), serving as Malaysia’s premier platform for showcasing the latest innovations in engineering, HVACR technologies, and sustainable solutions for the built environment. The four-day event brought together industry leaders, professionals, academics, and policymakers from across the region to exchange knowledge, explore cutting-edge technologies, and foster collaborations that are vital for the advancement of Malaysia’s engineering and construction sectors.

The exhibition floor featured a diverse range of exhibitors, presenting state-of-the-art products and services spanning mechanical, electrical, civil, and environmental engineering disciplines. In addition, specialised conferences and symposiums ran concurrently, providing in-depth discussions on critical issues such as climate resilience, energy transition, digitalisation, and sustainable urban development.

The opening day on 9 September 2025 was officiated by YAB Dato’ Sri Fadillah Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, together with Dato’ Mohd Sakeri Abdul Kadir, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Works. Their presence underscored the government’s strong commitment to advancing engineering excellence and supporting the nation’s agenda for sustainable industry growth.

On 10 September 2025, the spotlight was on the ASEAN Electrotechnical Symposium (IESE) 2025, where YB Tuan Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), delivered the opening remarks. His address emphasised Malaysia’s role in promoting regional cooperation in electrotechnical standards and innovation to strengthen ASEAN’s competitiveness in the global marketplace.

On 11 September 2025, the Asian Conference on Tunnelling and Trenchless Technology (ACTT) 2025 was officially opened by YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation. His presence highlighted the importance of research, innovation, and advanced engineering solutions in developing resilient underground infrastructure that supports urban growth and sustainable cities.

The final day, 12 September 2025, featured the Urban Engineering Symposium (URBENS) 2025, graced by YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Housing and Local Government, as the Guest of Honour. His participation reflected the government’s dedication to advancing sustainable urban planning, modern construction practices, and inclusive housing policies to enhance the quality of life for Malaysians.

ENGINEER & MARVEX 2025 successfully reinforced its position as a premier event for knowledge exchange and industry collaboration, driving innovation and sustainability in Malaysia’s engineering and built environment sectors while strengthening regional and global partnerships.
