Representing IEM YES at this prestigious event were Lim Yiren, Loo Suk Sin, Teoh Chi Yang, and Chuah Pei Lim. This year\u2019s exchange coincided with the HKIE YMC 40th Anniversary Flagship Event, which featured the International Young Engineers Exchange Forum, a recognized event under World Engineering Day. This ambitious infrastructure project showcased the innovative approach of relocating a major sewage treatment plant into caverns, requiring controlled explosions and advanced engineering techniques to clear space for construction. The visit provided valuable insights into the complexity and sustainability of urban infrastructure projects.
